Funny it seems but by keeping its dreams

- 자전적인-
그대는 들었는가
콘크리트 틈새를 비집고 피어난 장미에 대해
두 발 없이도 걷는 법을 스스로 깨달아
자연의 법칙 따위는 엉터리라는 걸 증명하였고
누구도 믿으려 들지 않겠지만
장미는 꿈을 포기하지 않기에
신선한 공기를 호흡할 수 있다네
시선 주는 사람 아무도 없어도
콘크리트를 뚫고 자란 장미는 오래오래 피어있으리!
투팍 자신의 인생에 대해서 쓴 시이다. 아버지도 없고, 어머니는 마약 중독에, 볼티모어 아트스쿨은
학교 다니다가 낼 돈이 없어서 그만두고 그의 인생에는 언제나 고통과 넘어야 할 장애물 투성이였다.
이 시는 그러한 상황을 이기고자 하는 투팍의 의지가 잘 나타난 시이다.

Tupac의 노래 중 가장 잘 알려진 곡 중에 하나.
마지막 2pac의 Something never change 라는 말이 의미심장하게 들려온다.
2pac 사후에 나온 곡으로, 투팍의 건설적인 생각이 가장 많이 들어간 곡이라 생각된다.
투팍이 가사에서 말한 , "아직 우리는 흑인 대통령을 볼 준비가 안됐다." 라는 구절은 오바마의 당선으로
인해, 많이도 유튜브 나 오바마를 응원하는 음악에 코러스로 깔렸다.
